Rennes Bus Metro shows real-time departures for the STAR network in Rennes: buses, metro, bike stations and park-and-ride car parks. It is an independent app, published by Applications Brozh Inc., and is not affiliated with Keolis Rennes or Rennes Métropole.

Report a bug, an idea, a data issue

Three things are especially useful to us:

• A bug — the app misbehaves, a screen stays empty, something gets stuck.
• A data issue — a wrong departure time, a missing stop, a mislabelled line, a disruption that is not shown.
• An idea — what is missing, what would save you time.

You can send them straight to contact@brozh.com, or from inside the app: open the “About” screen, section “Your feedback”, then “Report a bug”, “Report a data issue” or “Suggest an improvement”. The message comes with a subject already filled in, which helps us sort it.

For a bug, please include the device model, the iOS version, the app version (shown on the “About” screen), the line or stop involved, and the time you saw it.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the update require iOS 26?

The current version of the app is built for iOS 26 and will not install below it. Devices that cannot receive it keep the previous version of the same app, published under the same App Store listing: it stays installed and usable, and there is nothing to do.

Will I lose my favourites when moving to the new version?

No. On first launch, the app automatically brings over the favourites saved by the previous version, with nothing for you to confirm. A favourite the current network no longer carries — a removed stop, a renumbered line — may not come across; the app then tells you so on the Favourites screen.

Do I need an account? Is there advertising?

Neither. The app works with no account, no name, no email address and no ad tracking of any kind. The local information space it may display is chosen according to the place you are looking at, never according to a profile. What is processed is set out in full in the privacy policy.

Where does the timetable data come from?

STAR network data is provided by Keolis Rennes, the network operator, and published on the Rennes Métropole open data portal under the ODbL 1.0 licence. We display it; we do not produce it. A scheduled or real-time departure that is wrong at the source stays wrong in the app — do tell us anyway, we can pass it on.
